For the first time, two students scored a perfect score in the NEET exam. Akanksha Singh from Delhi and Shoaib Aftab, originally from Odisha and Kota, have created history by getting 720 out of 720 in this exam with AIR-1. Earlier, no one had scored 100 percent marks in the Medical Entrance Examination.
Shoaib, a native of Rourkela and living in Kota, Rajasthan, has also made history by becoming the first net topper from Odisha. However, as soon as the answer key of NTA is released, Shoaib now wants to get admission in Delhi’s AIIMS.
NMC will be counseling
Candidates scoring more than 50% marks in this examination will be considered successful. However, seats for admission to medical colleges and dental colleges will be provided through merit-based counseling. Admission will now be provided by the National Medical Commission, which replaces India’s medical consultation.
