Amazon made some changes to the Android-based shopping app last March. What’s special about it is that it has Alexa integration. A new feature has now been added to this integration. With this new feature, the user will be able to check the balance of Amazon Pay account through Amazon app with just one voice command and also pay gas, water, DTH bills.
The advantage of this new feature is that the device with inbuilt Alexa already supports the Amazon Echo, Fire TV stick. Now it has been launched on the Amazon shopping app. Learn how to pay a bill with just one voice command.
- First, open the Amazon Shopping app on your smartphone. Click on the microphone icon in it.
- Now give the command ‘Alexa Pay My Mobile Bill’ or ‘Alexa Pay My Gas Bill’.
- If you are an Amazon Pay user, Alexa will pay the bill amount from Amazon Pay. Before that, it will ask the user for some confirming information.
- Alexa Register will send a notification to the mobile number after the bill is paid through Amazon Pay.
- If you are a new customer of Amazon Pay, Alexa will send the bill details to the Amazon Shopping App.
- Once the billing account is registered, Alexa will be able to automatically get the billing account information and pay the bill.
Steps to View Amazon Pay Balance
- Click on the microphone icon on the Amazon Shopping App.
- Alexa will then answer the question “What is my Amazon Pay Balance?”
- To add money to Amazon Pay, the user does not have to follow a lengthy process, giving the command ‘Alexa Ad 500 Rupees to My Amazon Pay Balance’.
- Then you have to fill in the information on the ad money page.
- Notification will be received after the transaction is approved.
Voice command feature support was added to the Amazon Shopping app in March. It allows the user to create shopping lists and view different product lists and even create cart lists. Now with the addition of new features, customers will get more convenience. Currently, it only supports the English language.
