YouTube TV Entertainment Plus lets you save $ 5 / mo on subscriptions

The problem with cutting cables now is that there are so many streaming subscriptions that we have almost reverted to how expensive cable TV was in the “old days”. Every month a new service is released, so users will subscribe to that new one and add it to their collection or just ignore it but will miss some new and old shows they wanted to watch. YouTube TV doesn’t offer a solution to that, but it does save you some $ 5 per month with its new Entertainment Plus package.

YouTube TV has a basic subscription level of $ 65 per month, but users can also add some of the services that are not included in the package. There was the Sports Plus add-on last year and now they are introducing the Entertainment Plus package that includes Starz, Showtime, and HBO Max. Subscribing to the $ 30 per month package will save you $ 5 per month or $ 60 per year compared to subscribing to each one individually.

If you’ve already subscribed to these services on your own, which should total $ 35 per month, you’ll need to first unsubscribe before you can add the Entertainment Plus package on YouTube TV. The $ 5 a month savings may not sound like much, but it is still significant in the long run. You’ll be able to access all the HBO originals, as well as shows like Homeland, American Gods, My Brilliant Friend, etc.

YouTube TV alone already brings you 85 live television channels including ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, etc. but you can also add some channels that are not included but offered on the platform. Obviously, if you keep adding channels, your monthly subscription will increase. But it will probably be cheaper than if you subscribe to all the streaming services that are introduced in the market.

If you want to add Entertainment Plus, just go to YouTube TV settings and then tap on the check mark next to it. This is also where you can add other channels and services with their price listed next to it.
