YouTube Music may receive another update. Just a few weeks ago, it was updated with “Replay Mix” to make its songs repeat. Earlier this year, we found out that you are testing the Library Tracks playlist. We will also not forget the “Review of the Year” playlist, the most personalized activity, mood combinations and the playback of songs loaded in Android Auto for free users. It’s also easier now to stream music on smart TVs and bring playlists to the Google Assistant and even stream for non-premium members.
The music streaming platform appears to be testing a new feature: an ‘In Library’ filter for search results. The change can be noticed both on the web and on mobile.
Google continues to improve YouTube Music. It may one day be better known as a YouTube offshoot. Hopefully it will thrive better on its own and that can only be done with additional features and enhancements.
With the next update, you will soon see a library tab that can help you with your search. You can find the music you want more easily with an In Library filter.
There is no official announcement or teaser, but some eagle eyes. redditor noticed the change in the app. Clicking the filter after a search query will return the best results from the library. You can only see the available music.
However, don’t expect to see user playlists, collaborative playlists, and official YTM playlists when using the tab. That can be frustrating for some. Well, it is not an official and final release. The change seems to be only on the server side.
