The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 will soon have a brother. No, it will not be a Galaxy Tab A8 yet, but a Lite version. A teaser image of a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has appeared on Twitter. Android is said to come with an 8.7-inch screen for immersive entertainment, a slim metal design, and one-handed operation. The device is said to launch in June 2021. It’s already summer and it’s actually before the September launch of the Galaxy Tab A7.
The Galaxy Tab A7 mid-range slate was first seen on the Google Play Console in July of last year. Only in September was it announced alongside the Galaxy A42 5G and the Galaxy Fit 2. The tablet became available in the United States in October.
Recently, Samsung shipped an update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series, focusing on its S-Pen function and 360-degree audio. Today, we are learning the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite It will be the next mid-range tablet from the South Korean tech giant.

Android version is not mentioned, but we expect Android 11 with One UI 3.0 only and not Android 12 yet. The processor could be Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 SoC.
Samsung is also believed to launch a Galaxy Tab S7 Lite, also in June. It may already offer 5G connectivity, a 12.4-inch screen, and allow for Galaxy continuity.
