OnePlus Oxygen OS April 2021 Update

OnePlus, the company that lives by the motto ‘Never Settle’ doesn’t really stand still. OnePlus is known for releasing regular updates, sometimes we lose track of the available versions. The last one involves OxygenOS and since it’s the end of the month, let’s go over what the OnePlus team has revealed so far when it comes to OxygenOS. Various versions have been released for different OnePlus phones and the latest one is ready for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro.

There are other devices that have not received the update yet. The OnePlus developers answered some of the most frequently asked questions in the community, such as when the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T will get OxygenOS 11. The Android 11 open beta will be ready in August, so you may have to wait a bit.

Oneplus It will soon release an update that will “standardize” the temperature symbols in the OnePlus Weather app if you only want to see ºC or ºF (Celsius or Fahrenheit). As for the issue that Gallery takes a long time to load images in the latest version of Android 11, some improvements are available through an app update. Some other issues have been fixed, such as image location information displaying incorrectly in Gallery app, plus that 2-3 second delay on Google keyboard and third-party keyboards on OnePlus 9.

If you are experiencing some connection issues in your vehicle and Android Auto with your OnePlus 9 series phone, a solution may be available soon. OnePlus Launcher v5.1.2 is available to eliminate lag when swiping from desktop to shelf.

Call recording with Google Dialer is now available. Your Google bookmark must be updated to enable the feature. Last but not least, OnePlus Launcher will make the home screen show the apps again and make the gestures work.
