Samsung will release the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 on August 20 and 27. The new information is contrary to our last report that the launch will occur on August 11. Apparently, there have been delays in some processes in addition to new COVID-19 concerns. The South Korean tech giant is believed to be delaying the launch to later, separate dates rather than the earlier schedule. However, the Galaxy Unpacked event may still happen, but the products will not be available for sale at launch.
The product launch could be on August 20 and 27. It is likely to happen on August 27. This could mean that the pre-order will be longer. Starting from a week, the pre-order could be two weeks now.
The delay it is not surprising. We still live in a pandemic world, so a lot is happening. For one thing, there is still the chip problem. Samsung has even decided to cancel the Galaxy Note 21 series.
There have been a number of movement restrictions. It is not easy to develop a new product and launch it on the market.
With Samsung delaying the launch, it may be closer to the launch of the iPhone 13. This could mean tougher competition. We are confident that two premium flagship phones will be unveiled: the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip 3.
The two will be more affordable this year at 1.9 million won and 1.2 million won. There is no information on how many units will be produced and released, but we expect more to be sold this year.
