• Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 fast charging technology has been launched for Android phones which is capable of giving 100W charging power to the smartphone.
Nowadays smartphones are being launched in the tech industry that come with large battery capacity and have fast charging support. So that users do not have to waste a lot of time to charge the phone’s battery after it runs out. At the same time, Qualcomm has launched such a new technology that can charge your smartphone only 15 minutes full. Qualcomm has launched the Quick Charge 5 Fast Charging Solution and has been launched exclusively for Android smartphones. This technology is an upgraded version of Quick Charge 4+ launched in the year 2017.
Chipset manufacturer Qualcomm has claimed about Quick Charge 5 that with the help of this, the battery of the smartphone will be charged 0-50 percent in just 5 minutes. While the battery will take only 15 minutes to full charge. Apart from this, the company says that the new technology is 10 times more powerful than the previous version. This smartphone supports charging capacity of over 100W. It comes with 2S battery and 20 Volts power delivery support.
Let us know that at present the company has launched in testing phase and after the testing is complete, the first device with this technology will be launched in the third quarter of 2020. It is optimized for both USB-PD and USB Type-C charging. In order to increase battery life, it will have special features like Qualcomm Battery Saver and Smart Identification for Adapter Capability. The company says that initially this device will only support Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, Snapdragon 865+ and subsequent processors. But in the coming time it will also be made available with other processors.
