Sony has announced the launch date of Sony Xperia 5 II through its official YouTube channel and Facebook account, clarifying that this smartphone will be launched on September 17 at 12.30 pm Indian time. This launch event will be conducted through online streaming.

According to the leaks and revelations revealed so far, Sony Xperia 5 II can be introduced on Snapdragon 865 processor. It can be given 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. In a render revealed recently, it was revealed that this smartphone will have a selfie camera and earpiece. At the same time the volume panel and side mounted fingerprint sensor will be provided in the phone’s side panel.

Talking about the recently launched Sony Xperia 8 Lite, the price of this smartphone is JPY 29,800 i.e. around 20,800 rupees. It has been launched in 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Users can buy it in white and black two color variants. Its price will start from 1 September in Japan. It has a battery of 2,870mAh. It also has a 12MP single rear camera. Whereas for the video camera and selfie, it has an 8MP front camera.
