Nokia 5.4 mid-range phone to launch this year in colorful variants

The Nokia 5 series launched in 2017 followed by the successor Nokia 5.1 and Nokia 5.1 Plus in 2018. Then came the Nokia 5.3 in March 2020 skipping any series launches in 2019. Now, HMD is on track for the Nokia announcement. 5.4 at the end of this year, probably in the second half of December. Rumors suggest that the Nokia 7.3 5G phone could be revealed at the same time as the mid-range Nokia 5.4, if all goes well.

The leak is courtesy of Nokia Power User (NPU) that have in their hands unique information about the device. Nokia 5.4 will have an improved internal and camera setup compared to its predecessor, making it a good deal for budget buyers.

It will sport a 6.4-inch screen with a punch-hole selfie camera cutout. In rare cases, the device will have a quad-camera setup if we follow the NPU’s suggestions. There’s not much clarity on the processor, but the phone will come in a 4GB / 64GB and 4GB / 128GB configuration.

There is also no information on the battery capacity of the Nokia 5.4 phone, but it should come with at least 10W of charge. However, we crave 18W fast charging for the device as it is becoming the standard for entry-level and mid-range phones.

Nokia 5.4 will come in two color variants – blue and purple to begin with, followed by more color variants later on. There is no information on the price or availability of the phone, if it will be sold in specific regions or around the world.
