Two new Nokia phones are getting another round of updates. Android 11 operating system is now ready for Nokia 8.1 and Nokia 2.3. The couple is not exactly new. The Nokia 2.3 arrived in January last year, while the Nokia 8.1 was launched in 2018. We recall that the Nokia 8.1 got Android 10 in 2019 and is now ready to receive the latest version of Android. As usual with Nokia, the launch will take place in waves. For the Nokia 8.1, you will receive Android 11 in several key markets.
Phase 1 includes the following countries: Bangladesh, India, Hong Kong, Macao, Malaysia, Nepal, Vietnam, Singapore, and the Philippines. Ten percent of the markets will receive the update now. About half will get it on April 10. By April 12, all approved countries will have obtained Android 11.
Regarding Android 11 for Nokia 2.3, Phase 1 countries are: Bangladesh, Cambodia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hong Kong, Iceland, Latvia, Laos, Lithuania, Macao, Malaysia, Nepal, Norway, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Sweden, and Vietnam. The implementation schedule will be the same as with the Nokia 8.1. No changelog has been released, but it will bring most Android 11 features and updates to Nokia devices.
Several Nokia phones have already received the Android 11 update. There is the Nokia 8.3 5G and the Nokia 5.4. We also remember when Nokia officially announced its Android 11 upgrade plans. Several phones include Nokia 2.2, Nokia 5.3, Nokia 1.3, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 2.4, Nokia 2.3, Nokia 3.4, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2.
