iQOO is ready to unveil its flagship device, the iQOO 9T in India today. The 9T is said to arrive with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It is the first phone in India to receive Qualcomm’s flagship processor. Incidentally, OnePlus 10T, which is also expected to have the same processor, will be announced globally on August 2. While the previous month was all about the mighty mid-rangers, this month there are a few flagship phones lined up. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 should bring a host of improvements over the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and fix heating issues.
iQOO previously launched the 9 series in India and the 9T is an upgrade on top of it. Previously, iQOO formalized Series 10 in China. Notably, the design of the iQOO 10 looks identical to that of the iQOO 9T. The next smartphone is expected to be the renamed version of the iQOO 10T. However, there is no confirmation from the company on this.
