HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G phone debuts with 5000 mAh battery
HTC is starting the year with a new phone, as are most of the original equipment manufacturers we know. What we like about the HTC move is that it is launching not just another mid-range, but one that already offers 5G. A mid-range 5G smartphone is always welcome, especially since we know OEMs and carriers are pushing for 5G, especially this year. HTC’s newest offering may be in the mid-range category, but it’s the Taiwanese tech giant’s latest flagship offering under the Desire line. The Desire 21 Pro 5G is the first phone to introduce HTC this year.
HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G Specifications
the HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G It only runs on Snapdragon 690, but it already supports 5G. It may be the 5G chipset with the lowest specs, but it runs on 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The latter is expandable via a microSD card slot. Don’t expect much from these specs though, but we can guarantee that 5G connectivity is sufficient if you are looking for a device that can deliver ultra-fast mobile internet.
The HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G can still remind you of previous HTC phones. However, this one uses a dual-tone design on the camera bump. The effect is that the camera module containing four cameras stands out from the rear. The phone comes with a 16MP selfie camera positioned under a drilled hole.
The 5000mAh is big, so you know the phone can last most of the day. That’s an advantage aside from 5G and the affordable price. One downside: this HTC phone only works with Android 10 operating system.
The HTC Desire 21 Pro 5G will be available for TWD 11,990 in Taiwan. That’s around $ 428. It really is just a mid-range 5G Android smartphone, so don’t expect too much. However, it can compete with the OnePlus Nord N10 and the recently announced Samsung Galaxy A32 5G.
