Galaxy Buds Pro Gets Foldable Phone Case Treatment in Korea

For those old enough to remember the days of non-smart cell phones, they will enjoy the Galaxy Buds Pro case offered by Samsung. Those who bought the newest truly wireless earbuds from Samsung’s online store can choose a wrap for their charging case that looks like some of the old OEM folding phones, particularly the Samsung SGH-T100 and SGH-E700. The covers are called Anycall T100 and Anycall E700 but they are just covers, nothing more.

According to SAM MobileThese cases do not have GSM capabilities or smart functions and all components of the case are simply ornamental. The Anycall T100 measures 91.31 x 58.18 x 32.78mm and weighs just 35 grams. Meanwhile, the Anycall E700 measures 73.39 x 55.92 x 33.21mm and weighs slightly more at 40 grams. The covers are offered free of charge to those who bought the Galaxy Buds Pro from the South Korean online store.

For those who don’t remember the days of folding phones, the Samsung SGH-T100 came out 20 years ago in 2001 and then the SGH-E700 a couple of years later in 2003. During that time, folding phones were something with a lot of. OEMs are launching their own versions of modern but functional flip and flip devices. Of course, this was long before smartphones, so those devices mostly only had call and text features.

Now as to why you would want to have an “heirloom” like your Galaxy Bud Pro case, there is nothing really functional about it, just something nice to wear. And since everything else is just ornamental anyway, there would be no advantage in terms of whether or not wearing truly wireless headphone cases. It can be a talking point if someone sees you pull out a flip phone that turns out not to be a flip phone.

The Anycall T100 and Anycall E700 cases for the Galaxy Buds Pro can also be purchased for around $ 30. There is no word yet as to whether this will go beyond South Korea.
