Flipkart also announced a Big Saving Days sale event a few days before Independence Day. The sale event will start on August 6 and run until August 10. The announcement comes just days after Amazon revealed it would hold its Great Freedom Festival sale on August 6. The two e-commerce giants promise to offer big discounts on several electronic devices.

When selling on Flipkart, there will be up to 10% instant discount on ICICI and Kotak bank cards. The Flipkart listing says there will be up to 75% off TVs and appliances. This offer will be visible on TVs from Samsung, Realme, Xiaomi and other brands. There will also be up to 55% off conditioners and a 45% off microwave. We will see up to 55% discount on air conditioners (AC).

For people who have planned to buy a smartwatch at a discount, this would probably be the best time to buy it, as Flipkart says the sale will offer between 10 and 70% off clothing. Apart from these, customers will also get deals on popular phones from Apple, Vivo, Oppo, Motorola and other brands. Users who were waiting for big sale events to purchase an iPhone could purchase through these sale events at a discounted rate.

As usual, there will also be “crazy deals” at 12:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m., and 4:00 p.m. during Flipkart’s Big Saving Days sale. The event will also feature a “Rush Hours” section with big discounts at 2am. The e-commerce giant has yet to reveal the exact deals and offers on different products. But, it is expected to reveal a few deals shortly before launch. Amazon’s next big Great Freedom Festival sale in 2022 will last until August 10.
