4 Test matches 3 One-day matches to be played: BCCI president Sourav Ganguly
Team India is set to tour Australia later this year, ahead of discussions. BCCI president Sourav Ganguly wants the quarantine days of our players in Australia to be reduced.
Importantly, the Indian team will travel to Australia in October this year for a series of four Tests, three ODIs and three T20 internationals.
“Hopefully the quarantine days of our players in Australia will be reduced,” Sourav Ganguly said in an interview with a TV channel.
“We don’t want all our players to go away and sit in a hotel room for two weeks before this important series,” Ganguly said. This can be very frustrating.
“Apart from Melbourne, the situation is good in Australia and New Zealand,” Ganguly said. Keep that in mind and go there and hopefully, the quarantine time will be less and we will return to cricket.
Importantly, India will tour Australia for the T20 series in October, starting in Brisbane on October 11, followed by matches on October 14 (Canberra) and October 17 (Adelaide). Then there will be the T20 World Cup and the chances of it being planned due to the epidemic are very low.
