After a stellar performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Indian fast bowler Mohammad Shami is doing well so that he can prepare for any Test series against Australia without any pressure. Shamim had the best season of the IPL in which he took 20 wickets from Kings XI Punjab. This included a brilliant five-run defense in the ‘Double Super Over’ match against Mumbai Indians.
In an interview to BCCI TV on Saturday, Shami said, “My performance for Kings XI Punjab in the IPL has given me a lot of confidence and I have found a place in the right place.” “Shamila feels that her good performance in the IPL has eased the pressure on her.” “The biggest advantage is that now I can prepare for the upcoming series without any pressure,” he said. There is no pressure on me. I am very comfortable at the moment. ”
He said, “I’ve done a lot of work on my bowling and my fitness in lockdowns. I knew I wanted to host the IPL and I had prepared myself for it. Shami said Test matches are a priority for him on this tour and he has been working hard in training sessions for the last one week.
“The tour will be very long, starting with white ball cricket followed by pink and red ball tests. My focus is always on red ball cricket and I am working on my length and seam movements,” Shami said.
