Beachside swimmer Haylee Hite is the Florida Instances-Union’s 10th Northeast Florida Athlete of the Week for the 2022-23 higher faculty sports activities time, which addresses the week of Oct. 24-29.

This week’s vote

It is time to vote for the Florida Situations-Union Athlete of the 7 days for the week of October 31-November 5, 2022.

The Occasions-Union compiles the nominees from scores, stats and nominations emailed to the athletics desk in the course of the 7 days by coaches from throughout Northeast Florida. Coaches can e-mail these stats and scores to preps@jacksonville.com.

This week’s voting begins on Monday early morning and closes at 10 am on Thursday. Votes are restricted to the moment per system for each hour.

Ava Brinkman swimming off Fleming Island

The Golden Eagles sophomore scored 448.85 points to earn the Class 3A condition championship in women’s diving.

Jillian Candelino, Bolles Women Cross Place

The senior ran 17:43 to lead Bolles to the Class 2A staff championship and repeat as the 2A specific champion, Jacksonville’s first consecutive women’s condition winner since 1983.

Nancy Cox, Ponte Vedra Girls Golf

He shot a 67, together with 3 consecutive birdies, to receive medal honors and lead the Sharks to the Region 1-2A championship at Quail Heights.

Mehdi Elaoufir, Stanton boys swimming

The senior won the Region 1-2A championship in the men’s 200-garden specific medley as well as the 100-garden freestyle.

Rylan Hale, Yulee Soccer

The junior athlete blocked a punt, returned a fumble for a landing and added hurrying and receiving touchdowns as the Hornets conquer Menendez 35-7.

T. J. Lane, Middleburg soccer

Henry Robards, Episcopal Boys Golfing
