Samford rallies in second half to topple VMI 34-15

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Michael Hiers threw a occupation-large 4 landing passes, and Samford overcame a sluggish start off to conquer VMI 34-15 on his homecoming Saturday, it gave mentor Chris Hatcher his 48th win, a faculty history.
