Hinson shines in return, leads Pitt past UT Martin in opener

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Blake Hinson experienced 27 factors and 13 rebounds and Pittsburgh outscored UT Martin 80-58 in the year opener Monday night time.

Hinson shot 9-for-18 from the discipline, including 4-for-12 from 3-position range, and was 5-for-6 from the free throw line.

It was Hinson’s 1st video game given that the 2019-20 season. He averaged 9.1 points for every video game and built 91 3-issue discipline objectives at Mississippi prior to transferring soon after his sophomore year. Hinson did not play the previous two seasons at Iowa State owing to healthcare good reasons (2020-21) and a coaching modify (2021-22).
