Admission will be based on merit and online interview

Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) has canceled the entrance exam for admission in postgraduate diploma courses. Following this decision of the institute, admission in PG diploma courses in IIMC will now be given on merit basis. It has been decided to give admission on the basis of the marks of the candidates in the qualifying examination adopting the based admission process. The decision has been taken in view of the situation created by Corona in the country.
An online interview will also be conducted
The institute has issued a notification in this regard saying that now the candidates will be given admission on the basis of qualifying examination i.e. graduation as well as intermediate and matriculation examination marks. An online interview will then be conducted by the organization.
Online classes will be taken from the new semester
According to a notification issued by IIMC, first semester classes will be taken in online mode in all the courses of the new semester. The schedule for online classes will be released later. As well, students will have to arrange the laptop or computer and internet required for online classes. So that their educational work could be continued in the time of this epidemic.
