Host Greg Kelly prompted Trump for his thoughts on booking the artist, whose political stances have differed from the former president’s. Trump initially dismissed the choice with confusion.
“I Never Heard of Him”
“I never heard of him. I don’t know who he is,” Trump responded when asked about the booking. “I don’t know why they’re doing it. It’s crazy… I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.”
However, Trump quickly steered the conversation away from the multi-platinum-selling artist to what he sees as a more pressing problem with the league.
Real Anger Reserved for Kick-Off Rule
“And while we’re at it, I’d like them to change the kick-off rule, which looks ridiculous,” Trump declared, his focus shifting entirely. He passionately criticized the new format where players stand still watching the ball float through the air.
