On August 18, after recovering from Corona, he was admitted to AIIMS due to breathing problems and fatigue. He was discharged from AIIMS on 31 August. At that time, AIIMS had issued a statement saying that he has fully recovered. But he is hospitalized once again.

However, there is also a good news in the meanwhile that Union Minister of AYUSH Shripad Naik was discharged from the hospital on Saturday. According to the investigation report, Naik, a Lok Sabha member from Goa, has become free from corona virus infection. On August 12, he was admitted to a private hospital in Panaji. An official said Naik was consulted by experts from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) before he was discharged from the hospital.

While returning home, the Union Minister along with the team of doctors first went to a temple. The team of doctors accompanying him also included Dr. Shekhar Salkar, former head of the Goa unit of the Indian Medical Association. In the temple, he thanked God. Meanwhile, Corona cases in the country are not being named less. Due to more than 95 thousand new cases received for the fourth consecutive day in the country, the number of people infected with Corona virus has crossed 46.50 lakh.

According to the Union Health Ministry, more than 36 lakh people have beaten the corona so far and the recovery rate of patients has increased to 77.77 percent. According to the data released by the Health Ministry at 8 am on Saturday morning, 1,201 people have lost their lives during the last twenty-four hours and the death toll due to corona has reached 77,472. The death rate is continuously decreasing and currently it has come down to 1.66 percent.
