PGI Rohtak: Three volunteers were given a dose of 3 micrograms
- The trial began here on Friday. The trial involved 3 volunteers. He is a software engineer, shop keeper, and social activist. He was given a dose of 3 micrograms of the vaccine in his left hand. After giving the dose, Professor and Principal Investigator of the Department of Pharmacology, Dr. Savita Verma, Co-Investigator State Nodal Officer Dhruv Chaudhary and Community Department Professor Dr. The three-hour monitoring was carried out in the presence of Ramesh Verma.
- All three volunteers have now been sent home without any side effects. The members of the Clinical Trial Committee will follow up on all three for seven consecutive days. There were no signs of pain, swelling, or deafness in the hand where the vaccine was given. Seven days of monitoring will be done on many other issues including headache, dizziness, vomiting. The process of 10 more volunteers was completed on Friday.
NIMS Hyderabad: Two selected, 20 other volunteers agree to the trial
According to the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences in Hyderabad, 2 volunteers have been finalized for the trial. Their samples have been sent to Delhi for verification. The trial will begin as soon as approval is received. One of the two volunteers will be vaccinated and the other will receive general treatment. They will be monitored continuously for 24 hours. The safety level of the vaccine will be checked within 10 days of the start of the trial.
