Why was the Guardians of the Galaxy necessary in Thor: Love and Thunder?

After the quick montage, there is an extended scene on an alien planet where the Guardians plead with Thor for his help, only for Asgardians to make quick work of the issue at hand.

However, the scene after this may be the most integral part of the entire film.

Steeped in Waititi’s distinctive in-your-face comedy is a serious conversation between God of Thunder and Chris Pratt’s Peter Quill. The fictitious space outlaw known as Star-Lord convinces Odinson to dig deeper to find out who he really is. Even though Thor is not convinced, it is Quill’s conversation that persuades him to leave the team and try to find himself in a world that is crumbling around him.

The Guardians aren’t useless in the movie by any stretch of the imagination because they literally set everything in motion. love and need This has to happen for it to be a film. In fact, this one scene alone packs one of the biggest punches in the entire flick. You can always count on the parents to know what’s best.
