Rob Zombie’s . But during the entire production Munsters, the filmmaker offered teasers and behind-the-scenes glimpses at the effort, though the film has received only a sneak-peek teaser so far. Fans are in luck, as Zombie took to social media to confirm that we can expect a new look at the project on Wednesday with what is expected to be an actual trailer. Given that previous sneak peeks only honored the cast in the original TV series, this trailer will give us some real plot details. Watch his social media teaser of the trailer below.
The original two-season series now streaming on Peacock is described as, “the adventures of a Transylvanian-American family of friendly monsters living at 1313 Mockingbird Lane.”
The main cast features Jeff Daniels Phillips as Herman Munster, Sherri Moon as zombie Lily Munster, and Dan Roebuck as Grandpa “The Count” Munster. Also starring in the film is Richard Brake (31, 3 from hell) as Dr. Henry Augustus Wolfgang and Sylvester McCoy (doctor who) in the form of Igor, as well as Catherine Shell (doctor who), Cassandra Peterson (Elvira, The Mistress of the Dark), Jorge Garcia (Lost), and de Wallace (ET The Extra-Terrestrial, Cujo) original stars Butch Patrick and Pat Priest are also involved in the project.
Despite Zombie’s previous films, the film that follows on family-friendly content is rated PG and will not embrace its more disturbing cinematic sensibilities. Star Roebuck previously expressed why Zombie was the perfect person to tackle this stuff.
“There isn’t a better person in Hollywood, or anywhere else on the planet, who should make Munsters movie other than Rob Zombie,” shared Roebuck horror geek life Last year. “It has passed through the hands of many other people and I know that Rob wasn’t just looking for something to add to his coat. He is a huge fan of it and being a lifetime fan of this material it really is as much It’s as good as it gets. I know Sherry, and no one works harder than Sherry the Zombie. I wrote and directed a movie for her, as well as another movie that I co-wrote and co-wrote co-directed, so I feel like her talent. I think she is great and I love working with her.”
He continued, “I really hope the audiences leave feeling entertained and laughing. We really hope to make any film, well, unless it’s a drama. If all goes well And people really like, so maybe we’ll get a chance to do it again. I hope people realize they’ll have a new version Munsters Joe can live side by side and co-exist with the original version of Munsters, No one wants to change that, we all love it so much. We just want to shed light on this with our perspective which I think is the best way to look at it.”
