Last September, Netflix held a new kind of virtual fan event with the goal of bringing news about upcoming movies and TV shows to audiences around the world. It was called TUDUM, named after the sound that plays on the Netflix logo when you watch one of the streamer’s originals. On Thursday, Netflix announced that the event will officially return this fall, and this time it will be even bigger.
TUDUM will take place on September 23 and 24, and will include virtual events that will go live from four different continents. Presentations will feature exclusive news, never-before-seen footage, first look and trailers for upcoming movies and TV shows. Over 100 different titles will be addressed throughout the 24-hour event.
The event will kick off with a show in Korea, starting on the night of September 23, and will focus on Korean titles set to debut on Netflix in the future. Then there will be a show in India later that night. The show will begin on the morning of September 24, featuring North America, Latin America and Europe. Things will end that evening with a presentation from Japan.
Here’s the full lineup of Netflix TUDUM events:
- At 11:00 a.m. KST (7:00 p.m. PT September 23), Tudum begins with an exciting show outside Korea.
- At 11:00 a.m. IST (10:30 p.m. PT on September 23), fans will be given a fun look at what’s ahead of India.
- At 10:00 a.m. PT, fans will find exclusive news from our shows and movies coming from the United States and Europe, as well as an additional program that previews great entertainment coming from Latin America.
- On September 25 at 1:00 p.m. (9:00 p.m. PT on September 24), Our Stars of Japan will kick off the tudeam with a celebration of our Japanese entertainment.
Netflix hasn’t yet revealed which shows or movies will be addressed during TUDUM productions, but a lot of time is going to be spent on these originals, so expect a lot of new information.
