Ms. Marvel’s Iman Vellani doesn’t want to meet Robert Downey Jr.

In the past, she has expressed her love for Iron Man and Robert Downey Jr. In fact, she recently revealed that she “can recite the first five minutes of iron man with stage direction.” However, Vellani is not quite ready to meet his hero. The actor recently participated in a reddit ama And she was asked when is she going to meet Downey Jr.?

“I really think about it every day… I don’t want to meet them right now. I’ve been much better at not putting celebrities on pedestals and humanizing them, but I’m not ready to do that for RDJ .. so far,” Vellani shared.

Recently, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige praised Vellani’s commitment to larger Marvel lore, revealing that he had carried a notebook full of thoughts and comments.

“Like Tom Holland and Peter Parker, Iman is a much bigger Marvel fan than we realized,” explained Feige Empire Magazine, ,[On set] She carries this Unabomber notebook with her everywhere, along with her scribbles and ideas. Apart from Vellani, Ms. Marvel Stars Aramis Knight, Sagar Sheikh, Rish Shah, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff and Mohan Kapoor. Adil El Arbi and Bilal Falah directed the first and sixth episodes of the show, which were written by a room headed by Bisha’s Ali. Sharmin Obaid-Chinoy directed three other episodes while Mira Menon directed one.

“The fact that the show is being made and they are adding this character to the MCU [what’s important],” Vellani explained during a previous interview. “I really need to go out of my way to talk about being Muslim and not being Pakistani – it all comes out on the show. Seeing someone like me get involved in a big project, I think, is very inspiring.”
