Continuing to showcase those gods rooted in Norse mythology, Taika Waititi’s photo takes fans on a journey to the Omnipotence City, where the gods reside within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. At one point during this journey, there is even a connection Moon Knight In a way you can’t expect. for a little spoiler Thor: Love and Thunder Incoming!
Before the visit of Odinson (Chris Hemsworth), Mighty Thor (Natalie Portman), Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and Korg (Wattie), the god of thunder named Ra, king of the Ennead of Egypt and the god of all creation. Think of him as the Egyptian equivalent of Zeus in a sense.
Ra, of course, is one of the Egyptian gods, associated with Khonshu’s fist. recently Moon Knight Comics, Ra took on an avatar like Khonshu and Mark Spector. The Sun King, as the Avatar was called, formed a cult and assaulted the Moon Knight several times.
When we spoke with Moon Knight writer Jeremy Slater earlier this year, he revealed his reasons why the villain was not cast in the series despite being popular with fans.
“I didn’t like Sun King stuff that much. He was never one of my favorite villains,” Slater told us earlier this year. “Harrow was frankly, honestly trying to say to me ‘what a bad guy this character has an emotional connection to,’ and so the idea of making him a former avatar clicked for me because it’s okay, Now there is an emotional bond between them.”
Taika Waititi, who directed Thor: Ragnarokreturns to direct Thor: Love and Thunder, He also co-wrote the film’s screenplay with Jennifer Katyn Robinson. The film stars Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Natalie Portman, Christian Bale, Chris Pratt, Jamie Alexander, Pom Clementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn and Vin Diesel.
Thor: Love and Thunder is in cinemas now Moon Knight Streaming on Disney+.
