Hoax 2 stars reaction to the first trailer

Nearly 30 Years After the Sanderson Sisters Originally Fly CheatStars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimi have reunited for the much-anticipated cheat 2, which just earned its first trailer this week. As if fans weren’t thrilled enough with the first trailer, the stars of Adventure were equally delighted to see the first glimpse of the experience, with Disney+ sharing a reaction video from the stars themselves. If his excitement in this reaction video is any indication, fans will be getting some cute and hilarious promotional opportunities in the months to come. The new film is described as, “It’s been 29 years since someone lit a Black Flame candle and revived 17th century sisters who were killed for practicing witchcraft, and they’re on a quest for revenge. Now it’s up to three high-school students to figure out how to stop the ferocious witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before midnight on All Hallow’s Eve.”

Another original star, Doug Jones, is returning for the sequel to reprise his role of zombified Billy Butcherson. This time, the Sanderson sisters are targeting Becca (gossip GirlWhitney Peak), Cassie (dirtLilia Buckingham), and Izzy (american horror stories‘ Belissa Escobedo). Other franchise newcomers include Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Hannah Waddingham, JuJu Brenner, Froy Guitarez, Taylor Henderson and Nina Kitchen.

The main protagonists of the first film were played by Omri Katz, Vincea Shaw and Thora Birch, neither of whom is expected to appear in the upcoming film. The overall approach for the follow-up film seemed to focus on a new generation of characters in Salem, although Birch’s Dani was included at least at one point in a supporting role. However, the actor herself had earlier revealed that she might be more interested in returning in a new capacity.

Birch shared with ComicBook.com about the franchise return, “Everybody tried a lot. Everybody tried hard and it didn’t happen, but everybody tried hard.” “That was everyone’s intention. But you know what? At the end of the day, just between you and me, I’ll probably play Winifred in the future. I’ll probably play Winnie.”
