Doctor Strange 2 photos go behind the scenes of Professor X’s return

one of the biggest surprises for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, despite the fact that Marvel Studios revealed this in a trailer, was that Sir Patrick Stewart would make his MCU debut and return to the role of Professor Charles Xavier. With the film now available on digital platforms, the behind-the-scenes of the film has made its way online and as noted Prima facie, a fresh look at how Stewart’s return as the character was filmed. As seen in the “Constructing the Multiverse” feature, Marvel Studios and director Sam Raimi filmed Stewart’s return, including the trademark yellow chair, revealed. Check them out below!

At the time of the release of the sequel, it looked like Stewart’s character had been added, a completely new version of Professor X, which was something to get fans excited about and might actually be a reference to Marvel Studios’ bigger X-Men plans. There was no indicator. However, in a post-release interview, Stewart seemed game to return again. speak with Diversity Stewart teased, “Charles Xavier? Yeah. Maybe. You know, the whole X-Men comic series is so huge, so huge, there might be an opportunity he comes back. We’ll see.”

Marvel Studios hasn’t largely revealed its plans for the X-Men in the MCU. Ever since The Walt Disney Company inherited the rights to the characters again to 20th Century Fox, there have only been vague references to the fact that the plans are in place. The only project from the stable of characters still in the works is Deadpool 3, a film that will reunite Ryan Reynolds with his The Adam Project director Sean Levy.

Perhaps Marvel Studios will finally reveal the X-Men plans this summer, confirming that they will return to San Diego Comic-Con this July, marking their first appearance in Hall H since July of 2019. That panel was three years ago when countless major announcements were made, with Marvel revealing its full phase four slate of movies and shows, all of which have now been released.

“We’ll be at Comic-Con next month, which we’re excited about,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige shared during a press conference for Thor: Love and Thunder earlier this month. “The first time we were talking about this film and many others was three years ago. And now, I think, almost everything but almost everything we discussed three years ago, which was released So we’re excited to go and talk about the future.”

Maybe Patrick Stewart Hall will walk the stage once again.
