Dave Franco has yet to land a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it doesn’t look like it’s reasons not to try. In a recent conversation with ComicBook.com’s Chris Killian, the actor took note of Spider Man Voting. Although he doesn’t have a character in mind, Franco has appeared in Hollywood’s biggest franchises at one point or another.
“You tell me. You know this world better than we do,” said Franco when asked which Spidey villain he played. When Killian pointed out that the MCU hasn’t landed a Harry Osborne yet, Franco said, “It’s expanding into an area that’s going to be a little tricky. You know what you’re saying when you say that.” . [laughs],
Franco’s older brother James plays Sam Raimi’s younger Osborne Spider-Man Trilogy. At one point, Raimi even said he was ready to return to the world he helped establish in the early 2000s.
“I’ve realized after making Doctor Strange that anything is possible, really anything in the Marvel universe, any team-up,” Raimi said when asked about another possible Spider Man sequel. “I love Toby. I love Kirsten Dunst. I think all things are possible. I don’t really have a story or plan. I don’t know if Marvel will be interested in it right now. Me Don’t know if his thoughts are about the same. I haven’t really pursued it. But it sounds beautiful. Even if it’s not a Spider-Man movie, I’d love to work with Toby in a different role again I will.”
