With the aim of highlighting extraordinary settings, the 28th edition of 080 Barcelona Fashion will be held in an unprecedented venue, XC Space, in the work of the internationally renowned Catalan sculptor, Javier Corbero. The entire set of houses and the street of Montserrat d’Esplagues de Llobregat were rehabilitated or built by the artist since 1968, where many national and international artists have been invited. The impressive 4,500 square meter building fully reflects the artist’s spirit and intention, the integration of art with nature and the creation of poetic and magical spaces.

Throughout his career, sculptor Javier Corbero (1935–2017) exhibited in various European countries, in the United States and Japan. Some of his works can be seen at MOMA (NYC), Stedelijk, the Amsterdam Museum, or the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. He also stood out for his participation in the Barcelona Olympic Games, designing Olympic medals, among others. In 1992, he was awarded the Cross of Saint Jordi by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
