Russia indicated a month ago that it was at the forefront of the vaccine trial and would register the vaccine between August 10 and 12. Russia has said that all necessary trials have been carried out.
“As far as I know, for the first time in the world a vaccine against coronavirus has been registered this morning,” Putin was quoted as saying in a meeting with the country’s top officials on Tuesday, according to Russia’s Tass news agency. Putin has asked Health Minister Mikhail Murashko to provide detailed information on the matter. “I have been informed that our vaccine works well and produces good immunity,” said Murashko. All the trials required for it have been completed.
There will be three mass trials this month
Russia’s Defense Ministry says the vaccine is against the outcome of the trial. It has been shown to develop good immunity. No negative side effects were seen in the volunteers.
Russia claims that the corona vaccine it has developed has been 100 percent successful in clinical trials. According to the trial report, the volunteers who were vaccinated have developed immunity to fight against the virus.
