The Gujarat government has started preparations for the program of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Statue of Unity on October 31. Preparations have also been started for Narendra Modi to travel by seaplane from the Sabarmati river to Narmada river i.e. from riverfront of Ahmedabad to Kevadia Colony on October 31.
Consideration of planning including Ekta Parade
The state government has already conducted an exercise for the Prime Minister’s visit to Gujarat on October 31. In which senior officials of the Civil Aviation Department of the Government of India and the Chief Secretary of Gujarat met by video conference and discussed the program of the Prime Minister. The government is planning to hold a unity parade at the Statue of Unity on October 31 in the presence of Narendra Modi.
The discussion that Modi should go to Kevadia in a C-plane
In particular, there is talk of Narendra Modi boarding a C-plane and going to the Statue of Unity at Kevadia. Preparations are also underway for a sea-plane from the riverfront of Ahmedabad to land in the river Narmada at Kevadia. As part of which, a team from the Central Government’s Civil Aviation and Airport Authority of India will arrive in Gujarat before October 31 and review the preparations with top officials. The team will then visit the Ahmedabad Riverfront and the Statue of Unity in Kevadia Colony to inspect the site.
Currently, 2 routes will be started in Gujarat
16 routes have been selected for sea-plane flights across the country, out of which 2 routes will be launched in Gujarat at present. These include Kevadia Colony to Sabarmati Riverfront and Kevadia Colony to Sabarmati Riverfront. Not only that, but preparations for C-Plane have also been started at both the places in Gujarat. It is learned that besides the Chief Secretary, senior officials of the Tourism Department and the Home Department have held meetings with the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation.
