With his guilty plea, Bravo Celebrity agreed to forfeit $6.5 million and pay up to $9.5 million in damages.
After her appearance in court, Damian Williams, United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, said, “Jennifer Shah was a key participant in a nationwide plan that targeted elderly, vulnerable victims. These victims needed financial protection. False promises were sold, but instead Shah and his co-conspirators cheated them of their savings and had nothing to show for it.
