The leader and vocalist of the Mexican group Los Yonic’s, Jose Manuel Zamacona, died this Sunday from complications of COVID-19; this despite having received the complete vaccination schedule.
The interpreter was hospitalized at the end of May, according to his own family, so he was hospitalized for several days.
However, this Sunday the official account of Los Yonic’s announced the death of the singer, who had already reported lung damage for several days.
Zamacona had announced that he had already been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Mexico, being one of the first to receive the vaccine in the country for being over 60 years old. In March he received the drug against the disease caused by the coronavirus.
