Tyler Hynes asks Bethany Joy Lenz to be his fake girlfriend in the Hallmark Holiday Film (exclusive)

Bethany Joy Lenz and Tyler Hynes are here for more Hallmark cheers.

The duo will star in Hallmark Channel’s upcoming Christmas film, An unexpected Christmas which premieres the day after Thanksgiving and only ET debuts a Sneak Peek exclusively.

The story begins when a writer, Jamie (Hynes), convinces his ex-girlfriend Emily (Lenz) to pose as a fake couple for Christmas – a proven rom-com trope! As you can imagine, their fake relationship takes a long time unexpectedly for better or for worse.

In the exclusive clip from ET, Jamie suggests the idea of a fauxmance to Emily. After all, he argues, it would be beneficial for both of them in their current situation. He could pull some strings to get the Illinois governor to help with their campaign and he would get his family off his back for the holidays.

“You stay here with us for a week. We just play along with the latest appearances just so my family can enjoy Christmas without drama. Please, ”begs Jamie.

Emily, however, isn’t all that keen on the idea of faking a revival in their relationship.

“Do you see what a terrible idea that is?” She answers.

So why do we think there is a 100 percent chance she’ll pull off the idea anyway? Check out the clip above.

An unexpected Christmas Premiere on Friday, November 26th at 8 p.m. ET / PT on Hallmark Channel. Please see below for more information.
