In Buried in Barstow, Hazel lives a quiet life in Barstow, California, where she owns a BBQ restaurant and is raising her daughter, Joy (Lauren Richards). It’s a long way from her past life in Las Vegas, where she was a teenage heroin addict who was cast off the streets as a calculating hit woman.
When she became pregnant with their daughter, Hazel left her violent life behind. But now, nearly two decades later, her past has gripped her. his old boss – played by him Rizzoli and the Islands Co-star Bruce McGill – Invites her back to Vegas to do another job. Meanwhile, back in Barstow, she takes extreme measures to save Joey from an evil boyfriend who appears in town under mysterious circumstances, connecting with a stranger named Elliot (Christopher Polaha).
