Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian are living their best lifestyle. The 46-year-old musician opens the doors of his home in Calabasas, California for several days architectural digest Convenience – and the residence is really cool.
Barker takes Advertisement Inside the “zen” home, which she shares with her three children, Landon Barker, Alabama Barker, and Atiana De La Hoya, reveals the inspiration behind her style.
“The vibe of this room—and my house really—is Zen,” he says as he welcomes the cameras into his living room. “A place to rest my head when I come home from long nights on tour or in the studio.”
While Barker and the Kardashians — who were legally married last weekend — don’t currently share this home together, it was Kris Jenner who asked Blink-182 drummers contact designer Waldo Fernandez to help decorate their home. was suggested. “I loved the simplicity and Zen quality of his work,” shares Barker. “We connected immediately.”
Fernandez tells Advertisement Regarding Barker’s style, “Travis wasn’t looking for a major statement or any sort of caricature rock-star style. He wanted a home that would allow him to think and be at peace with himself.”
The Kardashians’ kids — Mason, Penelope and Reigns — also served as inspiration for the house. “I have a house with lots of flashy cars, murals, and bikes hanging from the ceiling. But with my own three kids, Kourtney’s kids, this place felt right for the moment in my life,” he explains. Huh. “I wanted a home where I could relax and enjoy my family, a place where we could make memories.”
Eventually, Barker and Kardashian will mix their things and live under the same roof, but he says there’s no rush as they spend time together regardless of living arrangements. “Kourtney has a great house a block away from here,” he notes. “Right now I’m planning to convert my home studio into a bunk room so that her kids can be comfortable here. In the future, I guess we’ll wait to find something better than what we have. Wherever we end up We feel incredibly blessed and grateful.”
In the video tour, Barker shared what a Sunday is like for a blended family. “We like to sit down on Sundays and just talk and put our phones away and eat delicious vegetarian food,” he says.
“It was important for us to have a large table that would fit our whole family,” Barker said as he walked around the table, where everyone sits.
Barker even “already” lighted the candles given to him by the Kardashians to show that they were a couple. As Barker enters his lavish kitchen, Kardashian drinks a matcha on top of the counter that he made her.
Other important rooms in Barker’s home include a living room with a giant fireplace where the couple and their kids played games on New Year’s Eve last year, and, of course, a ping-pong table and ” A recreation room with “cool art”.
Inside his bedroom, Barker has art painted by the Kardashians, Penelope, and photos of their children. From the day he proposed to Kardashian, he also kept roses with him.
Outside the home, Baker’s Backyard is decorated with an elegant dining space and a picturesque pool for the family to enjoy. “All my kids learned to swim in this pool,” Barker revealed. “We have the best memories here.”
