‘The Voice’: Hailey Mia brings Kelly Clarkson to tears with breathtaking ‘Elastic Heart’ performance

'The Voice' Sneak Peek: Kelly Clarkson is overwhelmed by emotions after Shadale's knockout performance

The voices Season 21’s top 11 performed live on Monday night, and they may have saved the best for last!

Team Kelly’s 14 year old powerhouse Hailey Mia was the final performance of the evening and she took the stage for a soaring, heartfelt cover of Sia’s “Elastic Heart” that moved her trainer to tears and everyone stood on their feet gave an ovation.

“I’m so proud of you,” said Kelly Clarkson of the performance. “I called early – I thought she was a dark horse. She will come with you and it just keeps getting better. She will be the right one.

“I swear you can make it to the finals,” she added. “You just get better and better every week. You are so phenomenal. “

“You’re so good at it it was hard to see you sad,” agreed Blake Shelton. “We all love you so much and you did this song so well that it was literally so powerful that I settled into saying, ‘Oh no, I don’t want to see her sad!'”

“To have that kind of taste and charisma as a singer at 14 – even at 30 is incredible,” added Kelly. “You’re 14, that’s a godsend. I am so blessed to have you on my team. “

Team Kelly still has the Season 21 advantage after their team won the competition last week, with all four singers moving up to the top 11 – including the winner of the newest Instant Save, Gymani! Blake has three singers left in the competition, while John Legend and Ariana Grande have two each.

Additionally, two of the top 11 singers from other teams – Team Legend’s Jershika Maple and Team Ariana’s Holly Forbes – were originally Team Kelly before they were stolen in the Battle and Knockout Rounds!

“There are some seasons where I have so many great singers that I get nervous and some have to go to other teams,” Kelly told ET after last week’s live performances.

While she’s definitely got a serious competitive spirit, the performer and talk show host admitted, “I honestly don’t care if Holly comes back and hits me on Ariana’s team or Jershika comes back and hits me on John’s team” are all artists, we want that they thrive. “

“Honestly, that means you won the blinds,” remarked John. “Because that means your team has so many great people that they stayed on the show no matter what team they were on.”

The voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. PT / ET on NBC. See more from this season in the video below!
