The squid game will have its own reality show and a prize money of over $4 million

Netflix has given the green signal to Squid Game: Challengea reality show competition series, based on squid gameSuccessful South Korean drama released in 2021.

Netflix’s Head of Global TV Bela Bajaria gave this news at the Banff World Media Festival on Tuesday. According to Netflix, Squid Game: Challenge The show will feature “the biggest reality competition series ever” with the biggest cast and offer the biggest prize money in reality reality history, as 456 players compete for $4.56 million.

Contestants will go through a series of games inspired by the original show, as well as new additions, all aimed at testing their strategies, alliances, and character as others end up around them.

Recruitment for the series is currently open to English speakers from anywhere in the world.

The 10-episode competition series is a co-production between Studio Lambert and The Garden, and will be filmed in the UK. Stephen Lambert, Tim Harcourt and Tony Ireland are executive producers for Studio Lambert, while John Hay, Nicola Hill and Nicola Brown are executive producers for The Garden.
