The cast of 'Jersey Shore' shares what it's like to film 'Family Vacation' with their kids (Exclusive)

Forget about t-shirt times. It’s baby time Jersey Shore: Family Vacation!

Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Pauly D, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Deena Cortese spoke to Rachel Smith of ET before the premiere of the 5th Children appearing with them while filming in the Florida Keys.

Snooki brought their 7 year old daughter Giovanna “Sissy”, JWoww their 7 year old daughter Meilani, Deena their 3 year old son CJ and Mike introduced his newborn baby Romeo “to the aunts and uncles and their cousins.” Pauly D doesn’t have any kids, but he enjoyed seeing all of the mini-selves running around who lead their best lives.

“The personality is also the same,” says the DJ to ET. “It’s like, that’s a mini Jenni. That’s a mini Nicole. When I see them playing together on vacation, I think that’s great. And that’s why I think this season is really special, because the crowd they have to share and you can see it. I love to see them as mothers so you can see that. “

Snooki is back this season, and bringing Sissy with you helped transition from real life to reality TV.

“I brought Sissy with me this time, so I was really happy to bring a kid so I wouldn’t be homesick,” she says. “I’m actually happy with going to sleep and hugging a baby. To see Meilani, they lived their best lives and drank [virgin] Margaritas, chill by the pool, lie on the beach. “

JWoww says the cast with kids had a huge impact on how and when the show is shot. She tells ET that she appreciated the fact that the production was great for bypassing the kids’ school holidays, which made her appearances easier.

Jersey Shore premiered in 2009 and immediately became a pop culture phenomenon. The show spawned several spin-offs, including Snooki & JWoww, The Pauly D project and Double shot of love. So it’s no surprise that after sharing their lives on TV for over a decade, some performers are more than comfortable watching their kids grow up on the show.

“I wouldn’t mind if they all had their own show one day,” admits The Situation, who Deena agrees. “Yeah, back to the day guy Jersey Shore. I would take care, “she jokes.” When they get older, I just show him a few things he shouldn’t do like I did back then. ”

Drink for example. When asked if they can still party as hard as they used to, JWoww is quick to answer.

“No,” she says before Pauly D interjects, “the hangover is longer.”

Snooki reveals that the gang is working hard one night this season “even though we were hungover for two days”. That being said, JWoww admits that, ironically, she now drinks more as a mom, but with one caveat. “I just go up and down,” she says.

But there is no doubt that this season will have many enchanting moments. The situation, which had to be quarantined for his son’s first Christmas after contracting COVID-19, said he enjoyed the closeness they experienced after parents introduced the babies to the cast.

“What a great moment we were able to document this,” he says. “Everyone met. It was very special. We took a lot of photos and were able to document it for MTV. It was pretty cool. “

Deena couldn’t have agreed more.

“It’s amazing because Romeo and Cameron [her second child] are only three weeks apart, “she says.” So it was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen seeing them interact. They were like kissing each other. I thought, ‘Oh my god. I can not.'”
