Hilary Duff makes a special cameo on Clayton Echard’s season of The bachelor. As a result next week, the 34-year-old actress will help the new Bachelor with his first group date.
According to the ABC episode description, the How I met your father star asks the ladies for help to create a wonderful children’s birthday party in Beverly Hills. “However, when one woman is more interested in spending time with Clayton than the children, the others have strong feelings to share.”
Duff has voiced her love for Bachelor Nation in the past. In one 2016 Interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Showshe gushed, “Who’s watching? The bachelor at the moment? Me! I’m obsessed.”
Duff isn’t the only celebrity guest featured in the next week’s episode. Comedian Ziwe is also overseeing a second group date “to help Clayton spot potential red flags among his bachelors”.
The episode also promises a lot of romance and drama with the first one-on-one date and a cocktail party that ends with a “shocking secret” about a woman who already has a rose.
ET’s Lauren Zima spoke to Clayton earlier this week following his season’s premiere episode of The bachelor broadcast.
“I’m so critical of myself in general, I always have been, and that’s why I really over-analyzed everything at the beginning,” he said. “[But now]… I can just enjoy it as it was. To see the first episode, I thought, ‘Wow, this is really happening. We are right in the middle of it. ‘”
