Teyana Taylor is brimming with love and pride for her husband Iman Shumpert.

The 30-year-old singer took to Instagram to celebrate the former basketball player’s win as the winner of Dance with the stars’30th season. Shumpert and his partner Daniella Karagach took home the mirror ball trophy during Monday’s epic finale. The couple performed an epic freestyle set of Missy Elliott’s Lose Control and DJ Clent’s Bounce, which guest judge Julianne Hough named the best freestyle in the show’s history.

Taylor gave the duo an exuberant reputation on Instagram minutes after the news was announced on live television.

“THE PROUD THAT I AM IS TEWWWWWW MUCH TO SPEAK IN WORDS! WOW 🥺🥺🥺 “, she labeled a gallery with photos of Shumpert and Karagach on the dance floor. “Congratulations @imanshumpert @daniellakaragach I’m proud but NOT shocked !!!! YOU HAVE THAT! Shumpert, 31, and Karagach, 28, have been consistently strong since the start of the season, scoring their first perfect score after performing a thriller-inspired contemporary routine US for horror night. The duo came out with an incredible, quasi-acrobatic number in which both embodied the film’s vicious tethered – complete with red overalls – as they danced to the song most associated with the movie, “I Got 5 on It “. (Tethered Mix) “by Luniz feat. Michael Marschall.

“Finally getting a chance at something this challenging feels like a great achievement,” Shumpert told ET at the time.

Obviously, that challenge paid off once he earned the mirror ball, which made Shumpert the first NBA star to do so!

“Hats off to the work we’ve put in,” Shumpert told ET after the couple’s big win. “I think I and Dani decided when we were 40 that we didn’t just give up and just want to disappear from the competition. I think we just put in a lot of hours and when it was time to perform, it was simple.”

It is also the first victory for the professional dancer, and while Shumpert said he couldn’t be happier to take the trophy home, Karagach told ET that she couldn’t imagine anyone who “deserves more” with her To take home DWTS ‘ highest honor as the former basketball star.

“I couldn’t imagine anyone who deserved it more,” said Karagach. “It’s never too late to start dancing, whatever your age, whatever your background.”
