Rock n love! On Sunday, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. The former Black Sabbath front man began the day with a sweet dedication to his wife. “40 years ago today! Happy anniversary my love,” 73-year-old Ozzy and Jacques World Detour The star wrote on social media. Ahead of the post, Ozzy shared a picture from his and Sharon’s wedding day.

Sharon took to their respective Instagram accounts to give a sweet shout out to her husband. “2022 is a special year for me. My sweet Ozzy is completing 40 years of marriage. We first met when I was 18 years old, for over 52 years we have been friends, lovers, husband and wife, grandparents and soul mates. Always on each other’s side. I love you OG~ charrrron x @shelbyduncan,” the 69-year-old wrote.

Sharon’s note came with a photo of her and the “Crazy Train” rocker wearing black outfits holding hands in front of a fireplace. The television personality also celebrated with a fan-made video compilation, which featured clips of the couple sharing kisses, laughing during interviews and professing their love.

Sharon also shared a post from her daughter Amy’s social media account, wishing her a happy anniversary. The singer shared a kiss of her parents on her Instagram Stories, captioned a picture, “Jokes anywhere papa et maman.”

It was revealed just weeks after Sharon and Ozzy’s anniversary that the “Iron Man” singer had undergone a “major operation”. At the time, Sharon shared that the surgery would determine her husband’s quality of life and that she would return from the UK to Los Angeles to be with her husband.

On June 16, the “Hellraiser” rocker gave his followers an update—following his healing process. The rocker posted on Instagram, “I’m back home from the hospital comfortably and well.” “I certainly feel the love and support from all my fans and send a big thank you to everyone for their thoughts, prayers and well wishes during my recovery.”

During their decades-long romance, Sharon and Ozzy have overcome health issues (the rocker was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease), infidelity, and addiction. However, both have proved that their love stands the test of time.

In 2020, Sharon and Ozzy, who are parents to Jack, Amy and Kelly, spoke to ET about the evolution of their love.

“We were both two odd balls that met,” Sharon recalled ET’s Kevin Frazier. “After so long and so long that we’ve been there to keep this family together, you become a soul mate. You become dependent on each other. You don’t want to go anywhere without each other are or don’t want to do anything without each other.”

“The thought of not being with him is just unimaginable,” she continued. “As the years go by you just get closer. When a romance first starts it’s lust, and it’s love, and it’s all – s**ts and giggles. It’s a different love As you get older and things change in your life, it just becomes a different love.”
