Ryan Gosling Is Kane In The ‘Barbie’ Movie — See First Look Photo!

Meet Ken! Following Margot Robbie’s first look as Barbie in the upcoming live-action film about the iconic Mattel doll, Warner Bros. Pictures on Wednesday introduced Ryan Gosling for the first time as its longtime male partner.

Clad in a denim cut-off vest, matching jeans and bleach-blonde hair, a Calvin Klein-inspired underwear waistband with her first name, Gosling Kane tanned, ripped and clearly ready to take you to the dreamhouse!

star-studded cast for barbie The film – directed by Oscar nominee Greta Gerwig and written by Gerwig and Noah Baumbach – also stars Kate McKinnon, Alexandra Shipp, America Ferrera, Simu Liu, Hari Neff, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae and Michael Cera.

ET spoke with Liu at the Time 100 Gala earlier this month, where he kept quiet about most of the details of the upcoming film, but shared his admiration for Gosling’s workout regimen.

“He’s definitely, like, a gym in the morning, kinda guy at the gym after work,” said shang chi Star, who is also reportedly playing a version of Kane in the film.

“As much as I believe I have a work ethic, I also love food,” he said. “Just listening to the little things like, you know, just his strict diet regimen and how much emphasis he puts on taking care of himself and his body, I like, I respect that, I respect that. I’ll have some soda.”

But that’s all he can say about the fun project. “I think the less I tell you, the better because I find that every little news comes to tease people—everyone gets progressively more confused and curious about what this movie is all about. like,” Liu said. “I think come July next year, people will be really surprised.”
