The actor, who brings Iron Man to life, attended a video conference organized by Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, where he also honored the actor for his services to the institution. Robert Downey briefly made a strong statement to Johnny Depp: “John, thank god it’s over,” he said of the actor’s victory in the Amber Heard case.
The information was released by Josh Richman, a close friend of Depp, who revealed the FaceTime conversation with a group of the Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s followers during a live broadcast for the hospital. Depp, 59, was reportedly “stoic” in a UK hotel room when friends called to congratulate him when the verdict was announced. Richman revealed other facts, such as Depp had no plans to ask his ex-girlfriend Kate Moss to testify at the trial, but that things changed when Heard took the witness stand.
