SAN JUAN (EFE) .- Ricky Martin joins Chilean-born young American Paloma Mami in the song and video for “Que Rico Outside”, a single that was released worldwide yesterday.
“It is – the song – joy and bliss. It is time to seduce a little,” insisted the Puerto Rican in an interview with Paloma Mami that he revealed at the launch of the song.
“We’re going to celebrate what we’re made of, why not,” Martin said.
“I’m a little obsessed with his work, but don’t tell anyone,” the artist joked about the follow-up with 21-year-old Paloma Mami.
He said that he had thought of her from the first moment for the song “How rich it was” and so he got to work.
“I was so excited when the approach came. One must have admitted coming from such a talented person”, highlights Paloma Mami on Ricky Martin.
The New Yorker insisted that “Que Rico Outside” is “a song with a tropical rhythm but songs that are too urban”.
“I wrote a little sexier than usual and I loved it,” she said of her contribution to the subject.
Paloma assures that her fans will be proud to hear that and with that she answers the question of when a stellar collaboration will arrive.
“They will be very happy and so will Chile,” he highlighted in honor of his country.
“The important thing is that we had a great time,” said Ricky Martin, pointing to the good chemistry between them in the recording of the song.
“They want to hear the song over and over again,” said the singer. The new single and video were released yesterday.
Ricky Martin and Paloma Mami mix pop, Afro-Latin and urban styles.
The song has been composed by both artists along with Visem Larfoi, Kevin Mauricio Cruz and Juan Camilo Vargas.
