Sutton Strake knows the audience will cry during a moment The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 12 premiere.
In a Glimpse of Wednesday Night rage ,was published by people), Sutton arrives for a meeting with Kyle Richards, who is in tears as she processes the home invasion of their mutual friend, Dorit Kemsley, which occurred the night before. As it all unfolded in October, armed men broke into Dorit’s Los Angeles area home and held her at gunpoint before fleeing with designer jewelry and handbags.
“Hey, this will make me cry!” Sutton says that when a tear-stained Kyle opens the door, before awkwardly knowing about his allergies.
“What happened today, Dorit?” Kyle says, attempting to read Sutton’s temperature on the situation. “it’s scary.”
“It’s weird,” responds Sutton, as Kyle goes on to share that she’s attempting to help Dorit and her husband, PK, pick up the pieces as much as she can.
“I’m still on fire all day today,” interrupts Sutton. “It could be that kind of day.”
Sutton recounts how she is attempting to bring a designer from France to L.A. for a party at her store and immigration is giving her a tough time, a difficult test that Kyle explains is more important in his life than Dorit. There are fewer stakes than fear.
“It’s all relative,” Sutton says. “I mean, I wasn’t held at gunpoint. I’m sorry.”
“What’s your problem?!” Reflecting on the awkward exchange, Kyle said in a confession. “Are you so wrapped up in yourself that you don’t understand what happened to our friend?”
The answer is that Sutton was apparently unaware of what really happened in Dorit’s house, at least the true extent of it.
“That morning, it was confusing,” Sutton told ET. “I don’t follow the tabloids, and that’s how everyone was finding out what had happened to Dorit. So a lot of things were unclear to me, and I don’t think I understand the full gravity of the situation. Me Looks like there might be some more clarity when things go about my response. I think it’s very insensitive.”

“It was wrong,” Sutton said of comparing a busy morning to Dorit’s traumatic experience. “I mean, it was wrong and my mind wasn’t in the moment, I guess. And I think it’s being insensitive when your mind isn’t in the moment. Basically that’s the definition.”
Soon after, Sutton realized the gravity of the situation. ET spoke to her just a few weeks later, when Dorit actually attended that French designer event at Sutton’s West Hollywood boutique.
“I saw the footage yesterday and it was awful,” Sutton told ET at the time. “And I don’t think any of us ever want to see anyone hurt or hurt, especially around family and just want them to feel safe again.”
“Being around him, you can see him in his eyes,” he added, painfully suffocating Dorit. “She was very upset and it was tough. It’s a tough thing for all of us.”
“I said, ‘How can you still get over this? she asked tearfully. “And he said, ‘I have to be a mom,’ and that’s when I totally understood, because as a mom you have to keep your strong face, and I got it. As a mom This is what you do: You get up and act strong and go on with your daily life, and I…
